Kill 'em all.

So am still hungry for more victims and I spotted a slasher in hrondedir amongst all the battleships and battlecruisers. No idea what he was doing but he knew enough to keep warping between safe spots and only wander into belts when the place was clear. It took me a good ten minutes to figure out his movements but once I knew, I decided to lie in wait close by and warp in at the same time and give him a fright.

The familiar feeling was building up in me as waited, my fingers twitchy on the fire controls. My ship, linked to me via the pod was straining to jump into the fight.

He disappeared from my scanner and I knew he was heading into the the other side of the system away from the main mob of pilots clustered around the Hrondemund gate. I counted down 30 seconds and then also jumped.

Hitting the scanner in mid warp at 180 degrees, I was rewarded with the return of a single frigate signal.

Sweet.

My rifter shuddered as it broke free from the warp tunnel and roared out into normal space. The slasher was there - just where we had planned it.

My targetting computer came on and almost on its own accord started to lock the slasher just as the guns and rocket launcher swivelled to track the target. The afterburner roared as he pushed the rifter towards the 800ms speed limit.

I locked, scrambled and webbed and killed the slasher in two salvoes.

Blood lust meant that I couldnt be bothered to ransom and kill his pod stone dead. His flash-frozen corpse bumping into my ship as I approached it.
